PCB Analyzer: PCB Design Analysis Software 

Cimnet Systems PCB Analyzer automates the data input and engineering analysis processes for PCB manufacturers. With PCB Analyzer, quoting, planning and design for manufacturability (DFM) processes produce more accurate and detailed information and are completed more quickly than possible using manual processes. The solution can improve computer aided manufacturing (CAM) throughput times by as much as 30 percent.

How it Works

PCB Analyzer automates the data input process, accepting design data from Gerber, ODB++, emails, PDF files, hot folders or by manual input. The solution identifies and automatically converts critical information such as images and drill files. The information is then changed in accordance with your internal naming conventions, such as renaming layers.

Within minutes, the information is accepted, analyzed, renamed, and integrated with quotation and/or engineering systems to automatically generate quotes and supporting engineering information.

  • Data input. Features automatic and guided data entry from all major file formats such as standard and extended Gerber, DPF, ODB++, Excellon, and S&M. Data input for quoting, process planning, and design for manufacturability is automated.
  • Layer recognition. PCB Analyzer documents the layers and layer order based on details such as polarity, plating, and blinds.
  • Design analysis. Analysis processes are automated, including generation of production tooling and design rule checks for early detection of manufacturing problems.
  • Quotation and engineering data generation. PCB Analyzer integrates with quotation and engineering system to produce more comprehensive product engineering and costing data. Output data formats include QED PDF, QED XML (for import into quote and ERP systems), and as a CAM-ready job for Ucam, Genesis or Gerber-X systems.
  • Integrates with PCB Quote and Engenix.
